Summary
A hack-and-slash action game and a revised version of Samurai Warriors 4. Rather than continuing the earlier game, it reworks the same setting with a character-focused story mode, letting players pick a warrior and follow a scenario that changes based on their choice. Storyline

Players take on the roles of warriors from this age across its battles. The depiction is romanticized rather than strictly historical, giving expanded roles to figures who had little presence in the actual events.
